2. Choose the finish and thickness
The supplier lists glossy, matte and frosted finishes, with thicknesses of 0.76, 0.90 and 1.00 mm. Confirm the combination of shape, size, finish and thickness for your order. Request an artwork proof that shows the clear and printed areas.
3. Specify the attachment and artwork
For a custom transparent card worn on a lanyard, identify the top edge and confirm the clip and hole option. The supplier lists oval, circular, double-hole, combined and no-hole options. If the card will be handed out or inserted into a holder, ask whether a no-hole configuration fits your intended use.
Review the artwork against a light and a dark background. A fine line that is easy to see on a white proof may be harder to see against dark clothing. Check the legibility of names, roles and logo text at the actual size, and identify which areas should remain transparent.
When the same custom transparent card is ordered for multiple teams, label the artwork for each group and list the quantity for each version. Check the spelling of any names and role labels before approving production.
