2. Select the finish and artwork
Published finish choices include glossy, matte and frosted. The published thickness option is 1.00 mm. Ask which finishes are available with your chosen configuration and request a proof to confirm that the logo and key label remain clear at actual size.
3. Confirm the hole and key ring fit
Measure the ring or fastener that will pass through the tag. The supplier lists oval, circular, double and combined hole options as well as no-hole artwork configurations. Confirm the attachment and hole position before approving a custom plastic key tag for use with keys.
For keys issued by a retail team, property office or event venue, consider a short name, location code or role label. A compact label is easier to read when keys are grouped together. If you order different versions for multiple locations, send the approved wording and quantity for each version.
Review the artwork at finished size. Keep text and brand marks away from the attachment hole, and check that both can be read when the custom plastic key tag hangs from the ring. If you already use a specific key ring, share its measurements so the hole can be reviewed during quoting.
